day 17

First day on the Alaska highway!! We're staying in the tiny, lonely town of Ft. Nelson, British Columbia. There's like one hotel, a restaurant, and a gas station- that's it. Should be hitting the Yukon later tomorrow-and even less civilization. My favorite part of the road was the drive out of Jasper through the last part of Alberta. It was idyllic-mountain goats and bighorn sheep dotting the hills, rivers the color of the aqua ocean back home, wolves scuttling by under the wide blue sky.
Breaking news! Bigfoot was successfully spotted today!! He is real and I have fantastic pictures-unfortunately my photo uploader has not been working....but skeptics prepare to believe!
